TODAY’S TEN

Ten statements. You say true or false, then how sure you are. The score at the end is not how many you got right — it is whether your confidence meant anything.

A question from today’s ten, with true and false buttons and a confidence slider set to 70%.
One of today’s ten. The slider never goes below 50 — under half is not a weak claim, it is the opposite claim.
  1. 01

Answer, then commit to a number

True or false is the easy half. The number is the real question: 60% and 95% are different claims about the same answer, and only one of them can be honest.

  2. 02

    Everyone gets the same ten

The set is fixed for the day and identical for every player, which is what makes a comparison mean anything. It rolls over at midnight in your own timezone.

  3. 03

The score reads your confidence, not your knowledge

At the end it groups your answers by how sure you said you were and shows how often you were actually right at each level. Being right 70% of the time when you said 70% is a perfect score. Being right every time while saying 60% is not.

  4. 04

Sixty seconds, and no streak to protect

There is deliberately no streak counter. A streak makes people answer to keep the streak, and the one thing this product cannot afford is a reason to be less honest.
